The Making of Glass

Glass that we always use has passed many steps until we can use it. To make the glass, first we need some ingredients of glass such sand, soda, and limestone. Then these essential materials must be heated in a furnace. Second, we must process it and shape it to what we want. For example, if we want to make bottle glass, we need mould to help making the hole inside the bottle and the outside shape. Different from bottle glass, to make a plate glass we have to use some rollers to make the glass flat. Finally, the glass must be polished in order to make the glass looks sleeker. Then after some washing and cleaning, the glass has been ready to use.
