The Process of Making Glass

There are several steps in the process of making glass. The first step is collecting the materials such as sand, soda, and limestone. The second step is mixing the materials in a furnace and are molted into a liquid called molten glass. After that, it is possible to make plate glass or bottle glass. To make plate glass, the molten glass has to be rolled in a flat plate, after that, the molten glass needs to be cooled down. To make bottle glass, the molten glass has to be poured into a mould that has a bottle shape, after that, air has to be injected into the mould so the molten glass is forced to make a bottle shape, after that, the molten glass has to be cooled down.
