Armageddon

Armageddon is a movie which got the Academy Award nominated. This movie is acted by Bruce Willis (as Harry Stamper), Liv Tyler (as Grace Stamper), Ben Affleck (as A.J. Frost), and others, directed by Michael Bay, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimmer. This movie is about an asteroid which is as big as Texas will strike the Earth on 18 days. So NASA decided to recruit Hary Stamper, the best deep core driller in the world, with his team to plant a nuclear bomb to detonate the asteroid. But, at the end of this mission, the remote-denotation trigger is damaged, which means that one of the crew members will have to stay behind in order to manually detonate the bomb. A.J got this job, to sacrifice his self to detonate the asteroid. A.J.is Harry’s daughter’s boyfriend. Harry didn’t want to make his daughter sad. So, he sacrificed his self to activate the bomb. And this movie has a sad ending. I think this movie is very good because it told us not to be egoist and to sacrifice for someone we love.
