The Difficulties of Solar Cell

Compared to the other power generation, solar cell energy generator is relatively difficult to be developed. It's caused by some difficulties that hard to be solved in developing solar cell generator. One of the weakness of solar cell generator is, it depends to the energy of the sun's light and heat that makes the nature plays biggest part in working it. As we know, there's not always fine and sunny weather to guarantee the solar cell generator works effectively. Sometimes, the rainy and cloudy days come and make the solar cell can't be used everyday. Also, no solar cell generator is generated at night as no sun's light and heat that time. Consequently, solar cells must have large capacity to store energy to be used when there's no sun's energy can be absorbed. By adding the storage, of course it makes the solar cell generator more expensive. Moreover, only in the low attitude areas can enough solar energy be generated at this time. The area in the polar of earth cannot use the solar cell well yet as there's not enough sun's heat and light there. The other difficulties to develop solar cell is building plants for solar cell generator is extremely expensive; a very large space is needed to build it, and the need of constant maintenance. For instance, the solar cell plants has to be cleaned everyday and the process to clean it up is not easy and cheap. Finally, the cost per watt of solar cell generator is more expensive than the steam power or the nuclear power generation. For all these reasons, the researchers are still looking for ways to make solar cell cheaper and can be used widely and effectively. Through many considerations, the final decision is for now, solar cell still has many weaknesses compared to its profit. That's why it's very difficult to develop solar cell plants and make solar energy available to the general public for a competitive price.
Good, thanks for posting.
